🔌 Method 1: Connect via USB Cable (Wired Setup)
This is the simplest and most reliable method.
🧩 Step-by-Step:
- Turn ON your printer.
- Plug one end of the USB cable into your printer and the other into your laptop/desktop.
- Windows/Mac should automatically detect and install the drivers.
- Wait for the “Printer is ready” message.
- Open a document → press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Command + P (Mac) → select your printer → Print Test Page.
⚙️ If not detected automatically:
- Go to Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Printers & Scanners → Add Device → Add Printer.
- Select your printer from the list → click Add Device.
💡 Tip: If Windows doesn’t find the printer, download drivers from your printer brand’s website (links below).
🌐 Method 2: Connect via Wi-Fi (Wireless Setup)
If you prefer printing without cables, follow this method.
🧩 Step-by-Step:
- Turn ON your printer and ensure it has Wi-Fi enabled.
- On your printer display, go to:
- Network Settings → Wireless Setup Wizard (name may vary by brand).

- Once connected, note the printer name that appears on-screen.
🪟 On Windows:

- Click Add Device → Add a Printer or Scanner.
- Select your wireless printer → Add Device.
- Done! You can now print wirelessly.
🍎 On Mac:
